Abstract: | Abstract: Bacteria have developed resistance mechanisms to evade the effect of antibiotics. The antibiotic resistance is a global problem. Currently, the antimicrobial properties of plant extracts and essential oils and the research of alternatives for treatment of infectious diseases are being studied. It has been observed that essential oils inhibits the growth of pathogenic microorganisms. In the present study, the effect of T. vulgaris on growth of bacterial environmental and clinical isolates was studied. |
